STUDY & STAY: ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM

ST FX Pitch Events

Hey StFX University Students!

Do you have a creative solution to an environmental, health, social or commercial problem?

Would you like the opportunity to pitch your idea and possibly make a difference with your innovation?

The Student Pitch Event will allow attendees to engage with and learn from entrepreneurs, discuss innovative ideas, and have the opportunity to pitch their own business or product.

Sharing ideas could be the starting point of developing an innovative solution to a real problem. Past participants have gone on to launch products and businesses!

The Student Pitch Event will include three sessions:

Session 1 – Friday, September 24 | 3:45-5:00 PM
Listen and Learn from X Entrepreneurs featuring Liz O’Connell of Arolytics. Arolytics recently closed a $700,000 seed round of non-dilutive financing.

Session 2 – Friday, October 1 | 3:45-5:00 PM
Listen and Learn from X Entrepreneurs featuring Wallace Family Interns who have developed early stage ventures. One former Wallace intern is currently preparing for a Spark Nova Scotia $50,000 pitch competition. Hear their pitches and offer input!

Session 3 – Friday, October 29 | 3:45-5:00 PM
Open Floor pitch for student attendees – come pitch your idea and/or listen to other early-stage ideas from students!
